Meet Sky! 

Sky is a very sweet, gentle boy who is looking for a home that understands his unique needs and can help him feel safe and secure. As a suspected livestock guardian breed, Sky will do best with an adopter who has experience with similar breeds and understands their instincts, behaviours, and need for structure. A securely fenced-in backyard is required so he can safely enjoy his space.

Sky can be quite nervous in new or high-stress environments and may take some time to come out of his shell. However, once he feels comfortable, his true personality shines-he becomes a loving, affectionate companion who enjoys being close to his people and soaking up pets.

Sky has lived with other dogs his whole life and truly enjoys their company, He has also lived with cats and children; however, due to his nervousness in stressful situations, a home with children 10 years and up is recommended to ensure a calm and respectful environment.

Sky is looking for a patient, experienced home that will give him the time he needs to adjust and the guidance to build confidence. In return, you’ll have a loyal, loving companion who will thrive once he feels safe.
